North Carolina’s coastal plain contains several sandy islands which are known as “Outer Banks.” This state is intensely green which complements the black and white style of the Bodie Island Lighthouse in the Outer Banks. The coastal plain of North Carolina produces tobacco, soybeans and cotton.

The coastal plain meets the fall line which is an urban area consisting five largest cities. The countryside consists of rolling hills and low mountains. The Black Mountains are the highest mountains in the eastern part of the US. North Carolina was once home of many different Native American Indian tribes. The city of Cherokee is recognized as the first tribe, there are several other tribes consisting of the Haliwa-Saponi, Waccamaw Siouan, Coharie, Sap pony and the Meherrin. The area is rich in Native American culture and many logo design ideas can be brought out of that culture.
